Trench Former T-Rail/L-Rail Assembly

T-Rail Assembly

When used in conjunction with a 4 ft. (1.2 M) rail, a trench intersection is easily formed. Mitred cuts in the foam is simplest when the main form number is 6 or more deeper than the branch or is the same depth at the point of intersection. (For example, a #24 trunk run would be entered by a #24 or a #18 or shallower former.) See cutting detail below.

L-Rail Assembly

The L-rail assembly is used for right and left turns anywhere in trench layout. When form is cut according to the diagram (below), and an adjacent set of 4 ft. (1.2 M) rails is used, the form is fully utilized and the form/rail joints line up.
